Featured Piece - DeLuca Tiger Maple Cupboard
Joe Deluca , owner of Deluca Windsors , practiced chair-making from his garage in the 1980’s. As he honed his woodworking skills, he obliged occasional customers with sets of chairs. To receive authentic reproductions of lovely Windsor furniture not only pleased his customers, but also supplied Joe with additional income–all for doing something he truly enjoyed!
Joe learned how to produce many types of furniture, including Windsor chairs, at a local cabinet shop from two of the best furniture makers in the business.Because the shop focused much of its business on repairing and restoring original antique furniture, Joe was exposed to some of the best surviving specimens of 18th and 19th century furniture.

Joe had the opportunity to actually see and handle original Windsor chairs. He took great care to precisely measure each piece so as to
reproduce it later. Continue reading Tiger Maple Cupboard
